Color printing is divided into two types: printed gold and specialized gold.
The difference between them and hot stamping is that hot stamping is a golden aluminum foil film that is pressed onto paper through heat transfer, with the highest glossiness, a smooth touch, a texture, and a mirror like appearance. The disadvantage is high cost, slow production speed, and usually not widely used.
Printing gold, hence its name and meaning, means that when printed on paper with golden ink, the glossiness is not as high as that of hot stamping, and it feels the same as the printed material without any special texture. The advantage is low cost, can be completed simultaneously with printing, and high efficiency.
Specialized gold, like printed gold, is a specially formulated gold according to customer requirements, which can be red gold, blue gold, or various colors of gold. The cost is higher than that of printing gold, and other processes are the same as printing gold.
